I wasn’t having a good time to begin with. Fiddling with weird proxy server phenomenon isn’t entertaining. Then, in an effort to see the extent of the problem, I pulled up the cnn.com website. Unfortunately, the proxy server found it.
At the top of the page, a photo of a mom who’d starved her son to death, right alongside this incredibly delightful list:
