The short story Miriam’s Tears is finished.
I decided that it needed an afterword, for the folks who read it this week and were wondering, “What was that all about?” So I wrote one.
But then I decided that it would also be appropriate, maybe better, for someone who hadn’t begun the story to read it first, so I renamed it a Foreword.
But then I looked up Foreword to make sure I was spelling it correctly, and saw that it should really be called a Preface, since forewords tend to be written by someone other than the author.
