Time for a Change

Years ago, in what seems a lifetime away, I listened to an inspirational speaker named Wayne Dyer in a cassette tape series. I listened to them in the car, changing my commute into one-on-one Life Coach sessions. The tapes came with a deck of cards with pithy quotes, and I propped my favorites up against the computer monitor in my office. Like this one: What you think of me is none of my business.

Wayne was all about change. Changing people’s lives from the inside. Changing people’s attitudes towards the world around them.

It’s been a tough year, in a number of ways. As I move through the season of Advent, headed towards the New Year, I feel that it is time for a change. More than the change from the outside, which will happen no matter what I do, but a change from the inside.

Turns out, Dr. Wayne Dyer has a blog, and it seems that once again, he’s talking directly to me.
