You know I love pizza. I can go on at length about the pizza in my life with no shame whatsoever. But tonight, I fell in love all over again. My taste buds are in a state of rapture that could last for hours.

I’d been to Smoqe BBQ before. I’d had their pizza before. And their pulled pork barbecue. Both very tasty. But tonight, this pizza description had me from the proverbial hello:

duke: fresh cut grilled pineapple, marinated pulled pork, smoQe bacon, sweet maui onion, pecorino romano, green onion, bbq sauce

Ohhhh, it was good. It was very, very good. As we used to say in college, I’m blissed out.
